These are SO sweet, Debbi! I love the one of Charlotte trying to help with the diaper change, on her tiptoes:-) And of her sitting in the chair waiting for Cailin to be put in her lap. William would do the same thing and put his hands together, he basically invited a new sign for "give me Hudson to hold!" Also... the gentle thing. Yeah, almost 5 months in and we're still working on that. Today I found William sitting on Hudson's head. I mean, Hudson is pretty big and tough now, we're pretty much down to the one rule of "no squishing Hudson's head" but we're still struggling with that. (I lied, a few more rules: "no stepping on Hudson" and "no leaning your whole weight on Hudson's belly and inner organs with one hand"). Maybe since Charlotte is a girl it will be easier for her to get it? Mothering instincts and all that?
