Right back where we started from

My and Matt's first trip together was to Virginia beach, summer 2001. We have traveled to many, many beaches since then. We're packing up the family (or the movers are really) and heading to the beach for the long term. Granted, we've never stayed anywhere more than 13 months, so "long" term may not mean forever. We'll see!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Day to my Valentine! This is our 11th Valentine's together. We've celebrated this day in Charlottesville VA, Arlington VA, Manhattan NY, Dubai UAE, Evanston IL, Boston MA, and now back in Arlington VA.

Why you are loved, Matt:
-You're an amazing dad. You have patience for anything and everything. You are able to stay calm in every situation. You allow (and contribute) to big, fun messes. You read all genres of literature to the girls including The Economist, The Bible, and Baby Goes Boom. You get up, ready to play, even if you were working all night long. You took a step down with work in order to take a step up with family.

-You're an amazing husband. You take care of me. You work hard. You put others before you. You are generous and considerate of those less fortunate than us and you remind me to do this as well. Most important, you make yummy pancakes.

Thank you for everything you do for me and the girls. I love you. Happy Valentine's Day (...said like Janice of course).
