Pumpkin Playground

Despite a runny nose and an initial fear of...well, everything, Charlotte had a fantastic time at the Pumpkin Playground. She rode the slides, loved the haunted hay ride, and mastered horseback riding. We now have many pumpkins to carve. Two weeks to go!

Fire Safety Day!

Charlotte absolutely loves fire trucks and ambulances. The noise from the vacuum and the garbage disposal make her cry, but she chases sirens down the block with no fear. This past Saturday was Fire Safety Day and all of the fire stations had open houses for children to come explore the equipment. We went to two. Because we are awesome.

We had some very hearty wheat bread sitting around for a week... no one likes that stuff, it's too healthy. Charlotte and I went to share it with our quacking friends in Old Town down by the waterfront. Charlotte squealed with delight as the birds flew in from all around to enjoy a snack. While she can throw a ball, she didn't quite get the hang of throwing the bread...
